JOSHUA DIAL
Joshua Dial, a native of Greenville, SC, began his postal career as a Substitute Distribution Clerk in 1969 in Charlotte, NC. As a craft employee he worked as a City Clerk, Dispatcher, Registered Mail clerk, LSM Operator, Air Mail Processor, and Express Mail clerk. His career in Learning Development and Diversity, formerly PEDC, began in 1983 as an Ad Hoc Training Technician. Upon the implementation of computers into the training function, Josh immediately enrolled in computer operations and programing at CPCC, the local community college, and shortly afterwards received recognition for his training acuity as a result of updating an existing FSM training program, and creating two supplementary ones to assist FSM trainees. As his career continued in the area of Training and Development he was promoted to the position of Full Time Training Technician, and subsequently to HR Associate, and then to his current position as HR Specialist. After years of service he continues to be an intergral part of Learning Development/Diversity, and a great asset to the Postal Service. A proud US Army verteran, he and wife Deloris have been married for 44 years and have two Children and two Grandchildren.
