ROSEMARY MARTIN-FOUNTAIN
Rosemary Martin-Fountain, Manager, Learning Development for the Mid-Carolinas District since June 2009, has been with the Postal Service for 25 years. She began her career as a Distribution Clerk in March 1985 and was promoted to Customer Service Representative in November 1987. She has held positions in Labor Relations, Training, and Diversity Development.
Ms. Martin-Fountain has been awarded the Mid-Carolinas Leader of the Year Award in 2010.
The Manager, Learning Development & Diversity has the primary responsibility of all related training, the Learning Management System; oversight of the Maintenance Support System (HR); Mid-Carolinas Succession Planning Program; EAS Leadership Development; Essential Foundations For Supervisors; DHOH; Recognition; Social & Recreation Committee; Randolph Shepherd Act; eIdeas; MD715; employee development and other related duties.
Rosemary left her homeland of the Bahamas to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she obtained a BA in Human Development & Learning. She subsequently obtained a certificate in Postal Technology and Human Resources from Central Piedmont Community College.
